$1000 awarded annually

Application Deadline: May 31st

• Applicant must be a current full or affiliate member of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association.
• All further music education projects will be considered.
• The decision will be announced by June 30, and the award will be presented at the ARMTA Provincial AGM.

Please include the following with your application:

• Resume of musical and academic education.
• Description of your teaching experience to date (number of years taught, size of class and level of students).
• Proposed plan of study.
• Tentative budget (instruction fees, travel expenses, childcare, and possible extenuating financial circumstances).
• Plan for future studio teaching: describe your aspirations and how this scholarship will enhance and further benefit your students’ progress in your teaching studio.
• A letter of reference, preferably from your teacher, pedagogy instructor, or a colleague.

ARMTA reserves the right to withhold the award should no worthy application be received.
