Welcome to ARMTA.

We’ve got a new look, a new site and some exciting news to share!

A proud history of promoting the love and knowledge of music.

The Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association works to support professional music teachers. Our provincial board and individual branches offer an array of resources, financial benefits, and development opportunities to our members and their students.

What our members have to say:

“I joined ARMTA because of the direct benefits for my studio operation, and for the opportunity to contribute to my community of teaching professionals. ”

The ARMTA Story

The Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association is a professional organization representing and serving approximately 450 music teachers across the province. The organization began in 1932 as a group of music teachers who wanted to enhance quality of life by encouraging the love and knowledge of music through teaching and by providing cultural events of a high standard in their communities.
