Description:

•    Professional development funding to support ARMTA members attending the CFMTA Conference.
•    Up to 5 awards of $400 each awarded biennially, in odd numbered years, when the CFMTA Conference is running.
•   Grants are awarded post- conference

Application Deadline:

•    July 15, conference year.
•    The application form will close after 5 grants have been applied for. In the event someone is unable to fulfill their grant requirements, we will offer the grant to the next member on the waiting list.

Eligibility:

•    Applications accepted on a first come, first served basis.
•   The first five eligible applications will be accepted.
•    Applicant must be a current full or affiliate member of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association at the time of application.
•    Conference must be attended in person

Application Procedure:

•    Complete part 1 at the time of application.
•    Complete part 2 post-conference including:
          1. Receipt for payment of conference fees or travel.
          2. A written article including your name and a short blurb about the conference (250-500 words) to be published in our Tempo Magazine.
          3. A photograph taken of you at the conference.
